BSCI-compliant social audits. ISO 9001-style process documentation. Materials traceability from tannery to dock.

How It Works

Our QC process

Every order passes through the same six checkpoints. No exceptions.

  1. Step 1

    Material intake

Each leather hide is graded and logged with tannery batch number. Microfiber rolls pass tensile and abrasion testing.

  2. Step 2

    Cutting

Hand-cut panels for grain direction; precision die-cut for repeatable shapes. Yield logged against the order BOM.

  3. Step 3

    Stitching

Hand-stitched seams for high-stress products; double-needle lockstitch elsewhere. Stitches-per-inch verified.

  4. Step 4

    Padding & assembly

Layered foam densities per spec. Internal liners hand-set, then double-checked on the inspection bench.

  5. Step 5

    Inspection

100% visual + dimensional inspection. Random destructive testing per 100 units (3-point bend, seam pull).

  6. Step 6

    Pre-shipment audit

Customer-facing photos of randomly pulled units. Master cartons sealed with tamper-evident strapping.

Procurement questions

Do you provide a Bill of Materials per order?
Yes. Every shipment ships with a per-SKU BOM showing leather lot numbers, foam density, and stitching spec.
Can we audit your factory in person?
Yes. We host buyer audits with 14 days notice. We've hosted BSCI, SMETA, and customer-specific audits in the last 24 months.
What is your defect tolerance?
Less than 0.5% AQL on visual and functional defects. We replace at our cost.

Need a compliance pack before you can buy?

We'll send the certificate set and a sample QC report from a recent shipment.
